It is crazy to think that it has only been a year and a half since Mead Hunter, myself and PCS started the GreenHouse School of Theater at Portland Center Stage. In case this is your first time hearing about it, GreenHouse offers several different adult classes in theater including classes in playwriting, acting, dramatic literature, voice over work, performance skills for business people, summer camps for teenagers, etc.
This Spring will mark our sixth full term of offering courses to the community. In its first term, GreenHouse had 27 students. By May, GreenHouse will have enrolled over 250 adults and 100 teens in classes and camps. That is so cool. Here are some of my favorite recent quotes from students.
