Stop in before the show, and during intermission. Meet our new staff – a friendly bunch of folks who are looking forward to serving you a latte from our espresso bar or glass of wine from our wine list, a bite to eat from our ‘light-fare’ menu, or a tasty treat from our display case. We are proud of our lineup of community-based vendors, including locally roasted NOSSA FAMILIA coffee, Jasmine Pearl Teas (blended right here in Portland), Dragonfly Chai (brewed in the NE quadrant of the city), delectables from Two Tarts Bakery (just down the road from PCS), Nuvrei Bakery baked goods, and our own house-baked cookies (including roll-of-the dice cookies for Guys and Dolls).

The bar will be open before every performance of Guys and Dolls, and at intermissions, and we will feature ‘The Lady Luck’ cocktail, made from Bathtub Gin (aka Tanqueray), Saucy Cranberry, with a squeeze of Hot Box Lime.

Lose the Line! Pre-order for intermission when you come in for the show, and your food and beverage will be waiting from you as you exit the theater.

What are you doing for lunch today?

How about curling up on one of the Armory’s cozy couches with your Willamette Week or your laptop (we have WiFi) and enjoy one of these tasty new lunch offerings?

First, a Greek Salad, consisting of organic mixed greens, grape tomatoes, diced cucumbers, sliced red onion, crumbled feta cheese, chopped walnuts, with an Oregano/Olive Oil dressing, garnished with Kalamata olives and pepperoncinis. Served with Artisan Bread. $8.00.

Next we have a Vegetarian Sandwich: Hummus, avocado, sliced tomato, sliced cucumber, bell peppers, greens, Havarti Cheese. Served with house salad. $7.

We are now serving Dragonfly Chai- Locally brewed in NE Portland by David Fischer (a big fan of PCS!). We also have Dragonfly Iced Tea – Sassafras or Lemongrass (isn’t that fun to say?). They’re both delicious and refreshing (and of course, brewed by the same cool guy!)

Now featuring new cookies! There are delightful, jewel-sized delectables from Two Tarts Bakery – another local place, run by the two tarts themselves, Anna Phelps and Elizabeth Beekley. Varieties will change from time to time. A fresh batch will be arriving this afternoon. Fresh, organic ingredients go into every one of these little goodies.

Armory house-baked cookies: Chocolate Chip, Old-fashioned sugar, and Oatmeal Raisin. Baked in our own kitchen, using family recipes and whole, fresh ingredients.

And finally we have added a roast beef sandwich to our menu. All of our deli sandwiches are made with Boar’s Head Meats, for highest quality, best flavor.

The cafe is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and offers a full espresso bar. Stop by for a cup of coffee or a quiet lunch away from the office…we’d love to see you.
