I am glad that there is a salute to such a strong arts patron in my neighborhood. Neo, I am not sure if you have looked around Portland but as was written in the article, there are parks of every size here. I am grateful that my city has the vision to put them in small and large places. I go to Forest Park too. Have you heard of it? It is lovely, and makes great use of a small space. While you're patting each other on the back over the park, be sure to give a thought to the "sustainable" quarrying practices employed in China. Try and remember it when news of the quake gives way to news about mudslides and erosion.
