Neo, I am not sure if you have looked around Portland but as was written in the article, there are parks of every size here. I am grateful that my city has the vision to put them in small and large places. I go to Forest Park too. Have you heard of it?</description>

		<description>That's a park? Since when does a strip of concrete with some benches constitute a park? I'm so glad that I live in an outlying area where our idea of a park includes trees and some grass to sit on.</description>

		<description>Good thing the granite made it out of China before the quake, you probably would have had to wait another year.

While you're patting each other on the back over the park, be sure to give a thought to the "sustainable" quarrying practices employed in China.  Try and remember it when news of the quake gives way to news about mudslides and erosion.</description>
