It is quite astonishing to me that we are heading into the 3rd full year of GreenHouse theater classes for adults. If you haven’t checked us out yet, this Fall might be the perfect time. GreenHouse is Portland Center Stage’s unique school offering theater training and related studies for people at all degrees of involvement with the living stage. All courses are taught by exceptional teachers drawn from Portland’s diverse community of talented professionals, many of whom are familiar to you from PCS’s productions.
This term we are welcoming Sarah Lucht, a new instructor to GreenHouse, who will be teaching a beginning acting class for any curious novice. In Sarah’s own words “participants will experience themselves as more fluid, responsive and alive and have at their disposal the myriad actor’s tools which enhance the experience of being alive — onstage and off.” Wow! I’ve had the pleasure of working with this dynamic professional in several different capacities over the last eight years and can promise a class full of not only learning, but also laughs. Check out a detailed description of this course, Sarah’s bio, and a list of all our Fall offerings in acting, playwriting, voice and more.
