- Evie not only sits on both organizations' boards, she is member of PCS’s Education & Community Programs Committee and the Arts and Letters Committee for the Deltas.
- The Deltas recently held a ribbon cutting (the photo above shows the Deltas with our Mayor Sam Adams cutting the ribbon) for their new June Key Delta Community Center, a “living green building” dedicated to environmental stewardship. PCS moved into the wolrd’s first Platinum Leed/Historical Renovation Performing Arts Center, the Gerding Theater at the Portland Armory, about six years ago.
-
The mission of the Deltas includes community projects for the public good in many areas including educational development and arts and letters. Education & Community Programs at PCS are committed to providing high quality education & community programs that inspire connections with theater and the arts, sustainability, history and community.
- The June Key Delta Community Center will be available for short term rental to community organizations, networks and individuals who may desire to host events at their facility, something we also do here at PCS.
