Shop Talk:
A Collaboration on Wigs & Hats
in A Midsummer Night's Dream
WHEN: Tuesday, November 20 from 6:30 - 7 p.m.
WHERE: Mezzanine Lobby
Barbara Casement, Costume Crafts Artisan
Danna Rosedahl, Wig Mistress
Kelsey Tyler, Moderator
Please note that this program will be offered in place of the prologue for A Midsummer Night's Dream on November 20.
For this installment of Shop Talk we'll sit down with two of our talented artisans to discuss their collaboration on one of Shakespeare's most fantastical stories. What do you do when a flower has to spring out of an actor's head, wig and all? What is the process like from design to fittings to mock-ups to the final product?
Costume renderings below are courtesy of Costume Designer Deb Dryden. Check out the awesome headpieces!

Hi Bethany! That is certainly something we would consider. I’ll pass your comment along to our Education & Community Programs Department. Thanks so much for your interest!
It would be SO cool if you could video this and put it on youtube for others to watch.
