Red opens on the Main Stage, and performances of Shakespeare's Amazing Cymbeline continue in the Ellyn Bye Studio. Tickets are on sale now!
Monday, February 20:

Beginning Improvisation for Adults with Chris Murray. Improvisational acting is useful for anyone, whether you want to act, speak publicly, perform stand-up comedy, or even start your own Improv troupe! From the seven rules of comedy to the art of timing, Chris Murray brings actors of any experience level directly into the fold. Mondays in February from 7 - 9 p.m.
Tuesday, February 21:
- Performance of Shakespeare's Amazing Cymbeline at 7:30 p.m.
- First preview performance of Red at 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, February 22:
- Performance of Shakespeare's Amazing Cymbeline at 7:30 p.m.
- Preview performance of Red at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 23:
- Performance of Shakespeare's Amazing Cymbeline at noon, followed by a Q&A with members of the cast and/or creative team.
- KINK-FM table in the lobby from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
- Performance of Shakespeare's Amazing Cymbeline at 7:30 p.m.
- Preview performance of Red at 7:30 p.m.
Friday, February 24:
- String Quartet No. 2, performed by Third Angle Ensemble. PCS is excited to host Third Angle Ensemble as they take on Morton Feldman's epic String Quartet No. 2, a four-hour masterpiece of beatiful harmonies and invention. Come and go as you please during this free performance, or settle in for the whole thing! The performance takes place downstairs in the Ellyn Bye Studio Theater. Click here for more information.
- Performance of Shakespeare's Amazing Cymbeline at 7:30 p.m.
- Opening-night performance of Red at 7:30 p.m., followed by an opening night party for the cast, crew and audience!
Saturday, February 25:
- Matinee performance of Shakespeare's Amazing Cymbeline at 2 p.m.
- Shakespeare for Teens. Understanding the basics of Shakespeare is a leg up for any young actor. Chris Murray is an accomplished, classically-trained actor who specializes in making classic language accessible and fun. Sometimes Shakespeare's plays can be confusing and endless, but there's no reason for the training to be anything less than thought-provoking and fun! February 18 and 25 from 3 - 6 p.m. For more information email sarahm@pcs.org.
- Sounds.Like.Portland. featuring Portland vocalist and guitarist Pamela Jordan. Join us on Saturday evenings during the run of Red for free live music in the Armory Cafe! Grab a drink or a light snack from the cafe and pull up a chair for the best in local Portland music. 6:30 - 7:15 p.m.
- Performance of Shakespeare's Amazing Cymbeline at 7:30 p.m.
- Performance of Red at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, February 26:
- Performance of Shakespeare's Amazing Cymbeline at 2 p.m.
- Performance of Red at 2 p.m.
- Teen council meeting from 4:30 - 6 p.m. in the Rehearsal Hall. All Portland-area teens with an interest in theater are welcome to attend!
- Performance of Red at 7:30 p.m. This performance is Pay-What-You-Will. There is a suggested donation of $10 and a minimum donation of $1 to gain admittance to this performance. Tickets available at the Box Office right before showtime.
