A month or so ago, Chris Coleman was looking for a fun and entertaining way to introduce our distinguished visitors at the recent LORT (League of Resident Theatres) conference to the concepts of sustainability that Portlanders consider second-nature these days and that went into the design of the Gerding Theater at the Armory. He put the task in the capable hands of Marketing Director, Kathy Budas and “just in the door” Multimedia Designer, Patrick Weishampel.

Their creative energies blended like chocolate and peanut butter and the end product (less than a week later!) was this wildly popular video clip starring long time PCS friend, Darius Pierce (whom you’ll see as Will Shakespeare in The Beard of Avon and Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night in the new year) and featuring a host of PCS staffers.

Since the clip was unveiled at the conference, Associate Managing Director, Lisa Sanman has been overrun with requests from our guests regarding where to find the video on our site, so we thought we’d bring it front and center for all of you to enjoy!
