In case you missed this event last season here’s a look at the hilarious video send-up of Chris Coleman that was part of the Season Announcement celebration last year.

This year, the party has been scheduled for Monday, February 25th. As always, the event is FREE. Chris Coleman will tell you all about the plays selected for our next season and a little about why he chose them and how they fit together into a season you’ll definitely want to be a part of.

Associate Artistic Director, Rose Riordan always makes this event a hoot, in addition to including great information and incredible actors doing short readings from each of the plays we’ll present next season. This year she’s collaborating with our new and very talented Multimedia Designer, Patrick Weishampel, so there will be new mad creative juice to keep it phresh.

This party is also the beginning of the Subscription Renewal season, and we’ve arranged for some pretty cool benefits to be extended to those subscribers who renew early for 2008-2009. If you’re a subscriber this season, you can even renew your subscription that night, at the party. A few more details (like the time and a theme) will be out soon, but for sure there will be something deliciously noshable after the presentation and lots of buzz and conversation about the selected plays. It’s just one of those events the cultural elite AND the cultural bohemians of Portland all seem to come out for.
