We’re leaving in May! We’re gonna be a part of it NY, NY. With the warmer weather finally upon us we can finally really start counting down the days for our Spring Theater tour of the Big Apple. Our exciting itinerary includes three Broadway plays. I am most looking forward to The Country Girl with Frances McDormand. She has such an uncanny way of making each of her characters authentically quirky. Her skill lead by the gifted insight of director Mike Nichols will surely prove to be a night to remember. Along with the incredible theater, our group of twenty-eight Portland Center Stage family will enjoy dining at some the city’s finest restaurants, guided walking tours through out the city as well as entrée to Ellis Island, Lincoln Center, Top of the Rock Observation Center, The Players-private club and the Rockefeller Estate-just to name a few. Not to mention people watching over a refreshing cocktail at The Duplex . Chris and I know it will be an especially amazing experience wearing out our vagabond shoes all over the city that doesn’t sleep because we get to share it with kindred souls from our home town. We’ll give our regards to Broadway and bring back the memories and stories to prove it. If you would like to join us and create a few memories yourself, there are a few spots left.
