Tinker, Tailor, Commissioner, Scribe—“Meet your ______!”.
Super Project Lab presents Marc Acito and Sam Adams, unplugged, unedited and shooting from the hip!
It’s Leap Year, a time to live dangerously, throw caution to the wind and head out for an evening of madcap introductions to everyday Portlanders—novelists, politicians, urban farmers, opera singers—people just like you and me. Honey, let’s meet our neighbors! In alphabetical order, no less. Starting with the letter “A.”
How’s it work? Marc Acito (author of How I Paid For College: A Novel of Sex, Theft, Friendship, and Musical Theater and the soon-to-be-released boffo hit Attack of the Theater People) and Commissioner (and Mayoral candidate) Sam Adams improvise true-life monologues based on a suggestion from the audience, which in turn ignites rapid-fire improv scenes by the cast of SPL, a core of electric veteran West Coast improv talents that include Shelley Six, Gary Hirsch, Ralph Huntley, Laura Faye Smith. Bottom Row: Mame Pelletier, Phil Incorvia, Chris Thompson.

Take no prisoners improv/sketch theater meets ripped-from-the-headlines
Laugh with (no, not at) luminaries from the world of politics, the arts, the business world and our community at large—come away feeling a little more in touch with your neighbors in City that Works.
If you miss it you’ll never know which one of these prominent Portlanders:
A) Has a fondness for Scottish writers no one’s ever heard of
B) Won the American Legion Good Citizenship Award
C) Knows a guy to call if you get trapped at railroad crossings for great lengths of time.
D) Has something in common with hookers and Winston Churchill
E) Is known for a particularly fetching Jackie Kennedy Onassis impersonation
G) Highly recommends How to Raise Chickens in The City
F) Could be called A Comic Rat
H) Possesses the secret superhero powers of delectable banana cake baking.
