PCS brings a whole new meaning to “drama in the workplace.” This is my first week here as a PR intern, and I can already feel the excitement in the air as the cast and crew prepares to take the stage for Cabaret at the end of October. People sing and hum as they make their way toward the rehearsal room. A few actors soak up one last bit of summer sun as they run lines at a café table planted on the sidewalk. Truthfully, I was a little scared walking into a building as grand as the Armory. A space so beautiful would have to inhabit some snobby types, right? Wrong. My apprehensions could not have been further from the truth. Each person that I have been introduced to has been so nice and downright approachable. From lead actors to the concierges, there seems to be, as cheesy as it may sound, a family bond here.
