So you rented out PCS. Or was it Gerding Theater. Or was it the Armory?
We realize it can be a little confusing at times. When space is rented for an event that is not related to a PCS theater production, it is acceptable to list the address without a line for “Portland Center Stage” on posters, invitations and other collateral. The building, however, must always be listed as Gerding Theater at the Armory.
Please DO NOT refer to the building as The Portland Armory, the PCS Armory, the Bob and Diana Gerding Armory Theater or any other such variations.
Depending on the nature of your event, it may be helpful to know/mention that the Gerding Theater at the Armory is a part of the Brewery Blocks development in Portland’s Pearl District.
Usage examples:
- Refer to events in the studio theater as In the Ellyn Bye Studio, Gerding Theater at the Armory.
- Refer to events in the main theater as On the Main Stage, Gerding Theater at the Armory.
- Refer to the outside sliver park as Vera Katz Park.
If you need to apply the Portland Center Stage logo to a document, here are some versions. Do not stretch, squish, recolor, decolor, add to, subtract from or manipulate in any other way.
