Based on the book ASTORIA: John Jacob Astor and Thomas Jefferson's Lost Pacific Empire, A Story of Wealth, Ambition, and Survival by Peter Stark

After last season’s hit run, Astoria: Part One returns for a limited engagement. At a time when the edge of American settlement barely reached beyond the Appalachian Mountains, two visionaries — President Thomas Jefferson and millionaire John Jacob Astor — foresaw that one day the Pacific would dominate world trade as much as the Atlantic did in their day. Just two years after the Lewis and Clark Expedition concluded in 1806, one of history’s dramatic but largely forgotten turning points in the conquest of the North American continent began. "Astoria: Part One is a riveting play of epic proportions, a fine-detailed work with a sweeping narrative ... Coleman has created a spirited story of adventure and survival. It's exciting storytelling in the hands of a masterful director with a big vision and, like Astor's, a marvelous dream." -EDGEMedia

Based on the book ASTORIA: John Jacob Astor and Thomas Jefferson's Lost Pacific Empire, A Story of Wealth, Ambition, and Survival by Peter Stark

Continuing the ambitious adventure of Astoria: Part One, which told the harrowing stories of the Astor expeditions by land and sea to establish trade routes to the Pacific Northwest, Astoria: Part Two is about the extraordinary endeavors that followed, leading to the establishment of the first permanent United States settlement on the West Coast. Adapted from the best-selling book by Peter Stark and brought to life with an exceptional cast of sixteen actors, Astoria: Part Two is designed to be enjoyed as an independent production or experienced together with Part One. For those who didn’t get to see Part One last year, four reprise performances will be offered before Part Two opens. There are also three exclusive opportunities to experience Part One and Part Two together as a one-day marathon on February 11, 15 or 17. Book early to guarantee your seats!

Run Time:
Approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes, including one intermission.
