Happy Hour with Lesbians of a Certain Age + Chris Coleman + Rick Lewis
Posted 25 August 2017
LOCA is a social organization for lesbians "of a certain age" (loosely defined as 55 or older--you know who you are!) in the Portland metro area. Members get together for concerts, live music, theatre, film, dining out, board games, topic-focused discussion groups, hiking, kayaking, walking, and day trips organized by members as well as many other activities.
On Thursday, September 28th, join LOCA from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. for a FREE Happy Hour event. Mix and mingle, enjoy complimentary snacks and your first drink on us. Learn all about our production of "Fun Home" in a brief presentation by director Chris Coleman and music director Rick Lewis.
Use the Promo Code "HOMEGIRL" for $35 tickets to Fun Home on Sun - Thu evenings.
*Not valid on Area 4 seating, student tickets, special engagements, or with other discounts. Subject to availability.
Our aim is to foster community, which is difficult for women as we get older. Too many lesbians of our age are sitting home alone wishing there was a way to meet women like us and that we had someone to play with. Here it is!! Your big chance!! Come on out--of the house, that is!
LOCA has a mailing list of over 500 women who meet and mingle in different small- to medium-sized groups. ALL older (than about 55) lesbians are welcome to check us out. There are no membership dues, although when something is scheduled at the Q Center they ask that each attendee make a small donation for operating costs. Attendees at the potlucks are asked to bring a dish to share. Otherwise, the cost of the day is getting there and socializing. Please email us at email@example.com to get on our mailing list and start receiving the newsletter. More info at https://www.meetup.com/Lesbian...
