INSIGHT: A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Fiddler on the Roof

A special PCS course offering four unique experiences designed to give participants a deeper connection to the work on stage. 
  • Monday, August 26 – Tour the scene shop with Technical Director Fred Schoening
    for a sneakpeek at the Fiddler on the Roof set in progress.

  • Monday, September 9 – Learn the basic steps of choreography from the show, along with the history behind them, with choreographer Kent Zimmerman (pictured to the
    right in our 2006 production of West Side Story).

  • Monday, September 23 – Join PSU Professor of Judaic Studies Natan Meir for a quick look at the social and cultural history found in the world of the play.

  • Monday, October 7 – Go on a backstage tour with our wardrobe crew for the
    lowdown on quick changes, wigs and how to manage costume needs for a cast of 28.


Fee = $100
All classes are one hour, from 7 - 8 p.m. 
Dates are set and cannot be rescheduled. We recommend that you attend each class to obtain the full value of the package.
