We are lining up plays for the upcoming season without yet setting dates to them. We know this adds a layer of uncertainty, but it will allow us to offer plays when it is safe to do so, rather than setting deadlines that might not be possible.
We are not solidifying the dates for our plays until conditions are safe for all of our patrons to return to the theater. This flexible model will allow us to be nimble and adapt to changing conditions, while still building the incredible audiences we'll need to come back strong as soon as we're able. We will be sure to give you plenty of notice about dates and the order of plays once they are set. Please also understand that we may not announce the dates all at once. But rest assured that once dates are announced, ticket holders will have complete flexibility, including the option to exchange your tickets or receive a full refund if the dates don't work.
We will use local government and health guidelines to determine when it is safe to produce the fabulous lineup we have planned. The current guidelines state that theaters in Oregon should not reopen until there's a vaccine or a viable treatment. This means we might not be able to light up the boards for another 6 months, 9 months, or even longer. We will be among the last organizations to reopen. While this reality is deeply painful for the entire theater sector, your safety will always be our utmost priority. That is why we're offering a risk-free guarantee for anyone who purchases tickets before the dates are set: If you don't feel safe attending, or the dates don't work for your schedule, you'll be able to exchange your tickets or get a full refund. We are deeply grateful for everyone who is willing to purchase tickets without knowing the dates — your support now will allow us to come back strong with the stunning productions you've come to expect.
If we announce dates for upcoming shows and they don’t fit into your schedule OR you do not yet feel comfortable returning to the theater due to COVID-19 circumstances, we will gladly offer you several choices:
- Give the gift of theater and transfer your tickets to a friend or family member who can make it to one of the scheduled performances — we’re always glad to assist with exchanges
- Reserve extra tickets to another production and bring friends, or put the ticket value on your account to be used for a future PCS production
- Donate your ticket value back to us as an investment in our future (you'll receive a gift receipt and our deepest gratitude!)
- Email or call our box office at firstname.lastname@example.org / 503-445-3700 for a refund of your ticket value
If you are a Main Stage or Everything package holder and you subscribe by our renewal deadline of 10/15/20, we will guarantee your seats.
It’s unlikely that we’ll be able to return to putting work on stage before a vaccine or other effective treatment is implemented and state and healthcare officials have issued guidelines indicating that gatherings like theater audiences are again safe. With that in mind, we are not planning to produce shows with a socially distanced audience. However, if social distancing ordinances or the general care for the health of our artists and audience end up reducing our capacity, we will find comparable seats and dates to the best of our ability and communicate any changes with you in a timely manner. If you don't feel safe attending a show, you can exchange for a later production or get a full refund on your tickets.
Yes! We’re creating a unique collection of virtual offerings that will connect you to exciting voices in the American theater. Ongoing projects include interdisciplinary performances with Portland artists, intimate small group conversations, the opportunity to watch new works blossom, behind-the-scenes access, educational opportunities — and through it all, a deep connection to our community partners and company values.

Your vouchers from canceled performances in the spring of 2020 will not expire. Once we announce dates for upcoming shows, you may call the box office at 503-445-3700 to redeem your vouchers.

We are located at 128 NW 11th Ave, between NW Couch & Davis street. One block north of Powell’s Books in the Pearl.
There are a number of parking garages nearby and on-street parking is free after 7 p.m.
