Your Contribution Makes a Difference!
It’s true! Portland Center Stage is a non-profit organization and could not produce the work you see on stage without the generosity of people like you who donate towards our Annual Fund. Did you know that ticket sales only cover a little over half of the costs of running a professional theater company? We count on nearly 6,000 individuals, corporations and foundations to raise the remaining needed. That is why you are so important! Please consider making a gift to Portland Center Stage or learn more about individual giving and business giving opportunities. With your support, we are able to produce great work on stage, offer free and reduced tickets for our schools, and support new play development in our JAW Playwright’s Festival. Your contributions to Portland Center Stage are invaluable to us and to the cultural vitality of our community.
Capital Campaign
To date, we have raised $29.8 million from more than 1,600 businesses, foundations and individuals. We’re now in the home stretch of our fundraising effort with $8.9 million left to raise. This is both the most challenging and the most exciting phase of the campaign: the further along in such a fundraising process, the harder it can be to secure the final dollars. We launched the Bring It Home campaign, and are inviting you to help us bring home these remaining dollars in order to clear the final hurdle and restore this building’s tradition as a destination and hub for our community.
