There are many ways to give and be involved with Portland Center Stage at The Armory. Your contribution, no matter the size, matters to us. Donations enable us to present extraordinary theater, provide affordable tickets and educational outreach programs for our community, and invest in new work which keeps the theater community vibrant. Our ticket sales generally cover just over half the cost of running a professional theater company; we count on more than 4,000 individuals like you to help raise the remaining funds needed. That is why you are so important!

Ways to Give
There are many ways to give to Portland Center Stage at The Armory. Below, learn more about how to make your gift and some unique ways to contribute.
To give by phone, contact our Development Office at 503-445-3744, or our Box Office at 503-445-3700.
To give by mail, send a check made out to Portland Center Stage and mail it to: Portland Center Stage, Attention: Development, 128 NW 11th Avenue, Portland, OR 97209.
Sign up for our monthly giving program! You can support us in a sustained way, with a minimum monthly gift of $10.
Gifts of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds can be made by providing this information to your financial broker.
You can make a gift through your Donor Advised Fund to Portland Center Stage EIN 93-1134865. Gifts made through DAFs may not be used to fulfill legally binding pledges, or contributions in which there is a non tax-deductible benefit, such as gala sponsorships and gala tickets.
Gifts can be made as a unique way to honor or remember individuals you care about. Tribute gifts of $500 or more are listed in our playbills for one year, and the person or their family is notified about the gift you made in their honor!
Portland Center Stage at The Armory has partnered with hundreds of local, community-minded companies that offer business matching for their employees' contributions to the theater. Many employers will match your gift dollar for dollar, and some companies even double or triple the amount of your gift, or match your volunteer hours with a grant — at no cost to you! If you work for or are retired from any of these companies, your personal contribution to Portland Center Stage at The Armory could have even more impact. Ask your company’s Human Resources department about matching gifts, or view a list of companies that match.

We receive support through in-kind donations from individuals and businesses in the form of costumes, fabric, paint, lighting, furniture, hardware, wine, and more! If you are interested in donating items to PCS, please reach out to our Development team at email@example.com with a description of the item(s), a photo, and dimensions.

You can opt to donate your Kroger/Fred Meyer rewards rebate to Portland Center Stage through Kroger Community Rewards.

The new federal CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act, has a few provisions that may improve the tax benefits of charitable contributions, including:
- For those who do not itemize, the CARES act allows all taxpayers to take a charitable deduction of up to $300.
- For those who do itemize, the CARES act suspends limits on charitable contributions for individuals and corporations. Individuals may deduct qualified charitable contributions up to 100 percent of their adjusted gross income. A corporation may deduct qualified charitable contributions up to 25 percent of its taxable income.
Both individuals and corporations can carry over to the next year contributions that exceed the AGI limitation. To qualify, the contribution must be:
- a cash contribution;
- made to a qualifying organization;
- made during the calendar year 2020
