Why Give?

Your contributions make a difference!

There are many ways to give and be involved with Portland Center Stage. All levels of giving are impactful – together you and your fellow members enable us to present extraordinary theater, provide affordable tickets and educational outreach programs, and invest in artists and new work. Our ticket sales generally cover 60 percent of the costs of a professional theater company; we count on more than 4,000 individuals like you to help raise the remaining funds needed.

You and your fellow members are critical to keeping theater thriving in our lives and, as a bonus, you receive special benefits. Please become a PCS member today!

Portland Center Stage has partnered with hundreds of local, community-minded companies that offer business matching for their employees' contributions to the theater. Many employers will match your gift dollar for dollar, and some companies even double or triple the amount of your gift, or match your volunteer hours with a grant — at no cost to you! If you work for or are retired from any of these companies, your personal contribution to Portland Center Stage could have even more impact. Ask your company’s Human Resources department about matching gifts, or view a list of companies that match.

If you have any questions, please contact our development office at 503-445-3744 or e-mail giving@pcs.org.
