Steps PDX School proudly presents an original production of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Gather your family and loved ones for an adventure of wonder and magic just in time for the holidays. This show is appropriate for all ages. You can even dress up as your favorite character!
Music composed by Danny Elfman. Choreography by Artistic Director Kathryn Harden and Artistic Staff; Olivia Ornelas, Alexander Dones, Lauren Smith, Adrianna Audoma, Jazmyn Thomas, Charles Roy, SnubB Dudley, and Gabriela Guerra.

STEPS PDX's mission is to educate, inspire, and enrich lives through dance, by providing affordable and enriching dance education for youth of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Artistic Director Kathryn Harden has created a safe space for more equity and diversity in dance, and for nurturing kids of color within the arts. Everyone is encouraged to learn and grow, thanks to a passionate team that has trained professionally around the country.

NASSIM
From Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour (creator of the Off-Broadway smash hit White Rabbit, Red Rabbit) comes an audacious new theatrical experiment, presented in collaboration with Boom Arts. Each night, a new, unrehearsed local performer joins the playwright on stage, while the script waits, unseen, in a sealed box... Touchingly autobiographical yet powerfully universal, NASSIM is a striking theatrical demonstration of how language can both divide and unite us.

Shakespeare’s tragedy about the war hero Coriolanus and the fight between the elite and the deprived masses will be fueled by a dynamic female and non-binary ensemble with a muscular, movement-focused staging.
