Follow I-84 to I-5 North (right lane). Take I-5 N following the St. Helens exit (Exit 302B), stay in the middle lane and follow signs to I-405 South (veer left off bridge). Cross the Ross Island Bridge in center lane, then veer right following signs to City Center. Veer left onto SW Arthur St. Follow SW Arthur St. through SW Caruthers St. and SW 5th Avenue. Following signs toward the Zoo, veering right over the I-405 overpass (keep in the left lane) and take onramp to I-405N/Hwy 26. Follow I-405N and exit right at NW Everett St. (Exit 2B). While the cost of parking varies, on-street parking is free after 7 pm Monday through Saturday, and free on Sunday.
The largest lot in Portland is within a block of the Gerding Theater. It’s a well-lit, security-patrolled underground garage that houses 1,300 parking spaces and is the size of two city blocks. There are two entrances to this lot on NW 12th and on NW 13th Avenues, and elevators take you into the M Financial Building lobby directly across from the Armory on NW 11th Avenue or into Whole Foods on the corner of Couch and NW 12th.

The Tri-Met MAX line travels downtown from as far east as Gresham, as far west as Hillsboro and as far north as the Expo Center. From the eastbound train, get off at the 9th Ave./Library stop. From the westbound train, get off at the 10th Ave./SW Morrison Street stop. Walk to 10th Ave. and turn right, follow 10th Ave. to Davis (approx. 6 blocks) and turn right to corner of 11th Ave. OR Walk to corner of 10th and Yamhill and board the Portland Streetcar, get off at Couch St. stop and walk to corner of 11th Ave and Davis St.

The Portland Streetcar runs on 10th Avenue (to NW 23rd) and on 11th Avenue (to Portland State University) and stops on the corner of NW Couch Street respectively. The entrance to the Gerding Theater is on the corner of NW 11th and Davis (one block north of Couch).
