These young writers are selected from PCS’s year-round education programs and the PCS Teen Council. The playwrights are commissioned to create bold new works that reflect their voices and experiences.
JAW New Play Festival FREE! July 25-27
A week-long assembling of artists and audiences to create new plays! Artistic teams, including playwrights, directors and actors, come together to rehearse — and a lot of times rewrite! — a play. The final piece of the process happens during the weekend, when we share “music stands readings” with audiences so the playwrights can hear their work, often for the very first time!

Speculative Drama Presents... Pericles
This immersive Shakespeare production traveling through the entire Armory lobby brings together the vaulting ceilings and balconies of our two-story lobby, stylized puppetry and paper-craft props, and the absurdism of British humorist skits as we follow Prince Pericles on a journey through the seven seas in search of love and fortune.
Acting for Adults: Monologues
This class uses exercises and coaching to enhance the students' ability to act from a deeply personal and freely imaginative place. Learn to tackle new material, dissect scripts, and perform while developing the actor’s instrument and sharpening technique.
Acting for Adults: Advanced Scene Work
Participants will delve into the intricacies of advanced acting techniques and character development. Designed for seasoned artists who are ready to explore the depths of their craft.
Primary Trust
Kenneth has spent his life in the same small town, his adulthood working at the same small bookstore, and his nights drinking mai tais in the same small bar with his best friend Bert — who cares if Bert is imaginary? When Kenneth is suddenly laid off from his job, he is forced out of his comfort zone and into the world.
