The health and safety of our audience, staff, and artists is of the utmost importance to us. In light of the governor's mandate concerning social distancing and COVID-19, it is with heavy hearts that we must announce the cancellation of all remaining performances in our 2019-2020 season. This includes all dates for 9 Parts of Desire, Howards End, and Cambodian Rock Band. The Armory will remain closed until further notice.
We're so sorry we won't be able to share these moving, deeply beautiful plays, but our first priority is to the health and safety of our community. It is impossible to cancel performances without creating serious and lasting hardships for our company, our staff, and our artists. We're incredibly thankful for the kindness, generosity, and support you've shown during this difficult time.
For those with tickets to a performance that has been canceled, you have several options, including:
- Donate your ticket(s) back to us; ticket donations are tax deductible and you will be mailed a donation receipt in the coming weeks. (If you are able, this is the most helpful option for us during this challenging time.)
- Receive vouchers good for a production in the upcoming 2020-2021 season.
We've created an online form to expedite your request. Please be aware that our box office is receiving an extremely high volume of calls. We will respond as soon as possible, but your patience is greatly appreciated.
I have tickets to one of the canceled performances.
If you've already submitted a form regarding your tickets, please be patient as we process it. Unless there's an issue that needs clarification, you will not receive an email reply from us. Your vouchers and/or donation receipt will arrive in the coming weeks. Thank you!
Subscriptions for the 2020-2021 season are on sale now!
This difficult situation is creating hardships in all areas of our economy, but if you are able to give a donation right now, there is no better time for your added support.
As this situation evolves, we will communicate as clearly and directly about our plans and activities to continue to offer world class theater in the safest possible environment.
Our hearts go out to all those in our own community and around the world who are being impacted by this epidemic.
Thank you for your continued support of Portland Center Stage at The Armory!
Our Ticket Exchange Policy
We offer unlimited exchanges at no additional fee provided you notify us before the show starts. We know staying home when ill and potentially missing a production is no fun. We appreciate your consideration towards others and will gladly work with you to find a solution for your tickets.
All large community events will also be canceled. Smaller community events and programs will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please continue to check back for updates.
