This workshop will focus on four mechanical elements of the actor's craft - physical, verbal, rhythm, and behavior. Using a series of brief exercises, performers will pick up quick and dirty tips and skills that help add detail and shape to an existing body of work.

  • This is not a sitting-down-at-the-desk type of Zoom class, we will be working on our feet! Even though we are in pandemic times for the moment, this class is geared for expression in real space!
  • Please have enough space so that you can position your laptop/webcam where we can see as much full body as possible (at least to your knees).
  • Please try to have an easily accessible chair or seat nearby.
  • We will provide text that we'll be working with prior to class, ideally you want to be able to print this out before we begin (unless you are a fantastic memorizer or have a second device to read from).
