Playwrights Welcome
Playwrights Welcome is a program created to provide free access to theater for theater writers around the country. Developed for the Dramatists Guild of America members, the national ticketing initiative was created by Samuel French, a Concord Theatricals company, along with input from other publishing and licensing houses. For more information on this national program, please visit concordsho.ws/PlaywrightsWelcome.

How it works:
- Playwrights participating in the program may redeem one or two complimentary tickets to any regular Portland Center Stage production.
- Tickets may only be requested on the day of the performance - after noon prior to evening shows and weekend matinees, or 10 a.m. prior to Thursday noon matinees.
Two ways to book:
- Email on the day of the show. Your Playwright Welcome ID card will be required upon pick-up.
- Book in person at the Portland Center Stage box office, anytime between noon and curtain. Please show your Playwright Welcome ID card when requesting a ticket(s).
Subject to availability. Not valid on community events, classes, or special engagements.
