Working Thru It: Workshop + Social
In the first installment of this series, PCS is teaming up with local nonprofit Thru & Thru for any artist in any medium to stop by for a workshop on Electronic Press Kit (EPK) design, as well as a social afterwards celebrating Physical Media.
EPK Workshop:
This casual, hands-on workshop walks musicians through the essentials of creating an effective Electronic Press Kit (EPK) to help them look professional and book more opportunities. We’ll cover what to include, what to skip, and how to present your music, visuals, and story in a clear, compelling way. Perfect for artists at any stage who want a simple, practical approach to promotion.
Here at PCS, we believe artists should have access to the tools needed to help them succeed. We hope you'll join us!!
Luvjonez is a Puerto Rican hip hop producer based in Portland, Oregon. He weaves a nostalgic and downtempo blend of musical influences from his cultural roots, extensive travels, and artistic experiences. His instrumental tracks combine multi-genre elements and ancestral Caribbean vibes, creating a genre-defying mix of lofi, jazzy, downtempo, and boom bap styles.
Primarily an instrumental artist, he also collaborates on singles and albums with emcee’s, vocalists, and musicians from around the world, while licensing music for podcasts and film projects with Marmoset Music. In addition to music production, he is also the Founder of A Beat Happening (@abeathappening), an all ages, free, monthly, inclusive, BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S- centered music producer and DJ showcase that is celebrating it’s 9 year anniversary of monthly shows in 2026.
Vincent "VNPRT (pronounced Vanport)" Magee is a Portland-based DJ, Producer, Curator, and Student of Life. VNPRT is known for curating high-energy, genre-blurring sets that bridge underground club sounds with global dance rhythms. With a deep love for movement, community, and sonic experimentation, VNPRT brings a bold and dynamic presence to the city's nightlife.
Whether spinning late-night warehouse sets or playing for community-centered gatherings, their sound pulls from techno, house, baile funk, amapiano, and beyond—always with an ear toward liberation on the dance floor. A regular fixture in Portland’s DIY scenes, VNPRT continues to push boundaries and build spaces where everyone can move freely.
